Ameritas wins community award, named one of the best places to work

Ameritas has been named one of the best places to work in Lincoln by Quantum Workplace. Results of an associate survey conducted earlier this spring determined the rating Ameritas received. Ameritas falls into the category of extra-large company (200+ employees).

Ameritas representatives were on-hand to receive the recognition from Quantum on June 6 at Haymarket Park in Lincoln, the award ceremony was held before the Lincoln Saltdogs baseball game.

Also announced at Haymarket Park was the winner of the Quantum 2024 Community Impact Award. This year’s winner was Ameritas, highlighted for its community support as well as countless associate volunteer hours.

Held annually, Quantum’s Best Places to Work honors organizations where voices are heard, cultures are thriving and employees are engaged. The survey taken by associates measured employee engagement, including resources, individual needs, personal engagement, manager effectiveness, team dynamics and trust in leadership.

“Being named one of the best places to work in Lincoln is a great honor, and it’s a reflection of our great associates,” said April Rimpley, senior vice president, human resources. “Ameritas has a lot going for it. Our culture is strong and we take pride in the community, as illustrated by the number of associate volunteer hours and relationships with area nonprofits. We believe in supporting the well-being of associates while contributing to the community makes good sense.”
