Chip Schorr IV earned a B.S.F.S. degree, magna cum laude, from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University and a Master of Science in business administration with distinction from Harvard Business School.
Schorr began his career in 1989 as a mergers and acquisitions financial analyst for Morgan Stanley. He has worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years. He was elected senior managing director of One Equity Partners in 2015.
He serves on the board of directors for the Ameritas Mutual Holding Company and Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. Schorr is chair of the Ameritas Finance committee. He is a member of the Ameritas Executive and Ameritas Compensation committees. He also is a member of the Ameritas Acquisitions subcommittee.
Schorr serves on the EMSO, CDI, Orion, Dragonfly Technologies, Mythics Emergent, CloudOne Digital, Spartronics, InfoBip, Jazz at Lincoln Center and Allegro boards of directors. He serves on the Whitney Museum and Snowmass Chapel boards of trustees and is a member of the Chief Executives Organization.
Schorr is the author of two novels, The After and The Price, as well as the inventor and holder of patents covering cryptocurrency.
